Nigel Cowlin Ltd has been involved with over 40 ground mount solar energy projects, including a few on raised tracker panels. This includes farm side arrays of 30 or 40KW outputs and commercial solar farms of between 5MW and 20MW outputs. Work on these projects often involved initial landscape and visual issues feasibility appraisals for site selection. Then Landscape & Visual Appraisal reporting accompany planning applications for the final proposals. Sometimes this also included preparation of landscape strategy proposals to address mitigation issues and the production of photomontage visualisation work.
