Netherhouse Farm
Proposed natural burial site on greenfield countryside between the Lee Valley and Epping Forest. Originally appointed to provide site layout and landscape masterplan proposals to support a change of use planning application. The burial site would provide an extensive parkland of rolling meadows punctuated by woodland. The proposals include ceremonies building nestling into the landscape and a variety of walks and contemplation spaces in surprisingly tranquil countryside so close to London.
With planning permission secured in 2017 Nigel Cowlin Ltd was retained to provide detailed landscape proposals for planning condition discharge purposes in 2018. Work is underway in 2020.
