Brickclamp Spring
A proposed new dwelling of exceptional quality design. This proposal was an alternative to the option of converting the existing disused agricultural buildings on the site. Nigel Cowlin Ltd undertook Landscape and Visual Appraisal (LVA) investigation and reporting, followed by production of site wide landscape and garden design proposals. The LVA work provided input to the design process for the siting and orientation of the dwelling.
It was not pursued beyond exploring design proposals, but the scheme was an interesting mix of contemporary architecture, sustainable design and a grand vision for the dwelling and its grounds.
