We provided both layout design and landscape & visual appraisal reporting for this project.

The layout design plans were presented in a hybrid form for an outline planning application. This was to demonstrate development pattern and quantum capabilities of the site without committing to a firm design fix. Some areas were coded as simple perimeter blocks, whilst other key areas were given more detail with basic unit layouts. The scheme was for a development in excess of 100 dwellings, plus a village pub, small parade of shops, amenity open space incorporating a play site and surface water drainage feature.

The landscape & visual appraisal considers the effects on the character and appearance of the immediate village setting as well as the in relation to the wider rural context.
