Work on this project started with landscape and visual issues feasibility advice to assist with shaping the aspirations for development and zoning of proposed development within the available land. Subsequently LVA reporting was provided to accompany a planning application. For this case the LVA was supported by approximate photowire visualisations prepared in-house.
The application was refused by Braintree District Council, but subsequently was overturned at appeal. Nigel acted as landscape and visual issues expert witness at the appeal hearing. Issues addressed included: landscape value and separation of settlements.
